Privacy Policy
Effective date: April 23, 2026
CleanToolkit operates the cleantoolkit.com website. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use our site.
Data processing — client-side only
CleanToolkit is a collection of free online utility tools. All tools process your data entirely within your browser (client-side). No data you enter into our tools is transmitted to, stored on, or accessible by our servers. Your input never leaves your device.
Information we collect
We do not require registration, login, or any personal information to use our tools. The only information we collect is through cookies and third-party analytics/advertising services as described below.
Google AdSense
We use Google AdSense to display advertisements on our site. Google AdSense is provided by Google LLC and its affiliates.
- Google and third-party vendors use cookies — including the DoubleClick DART cookie — to serve ads based on your visits to this site and other websites.
- The DART cookie enables Google and its partners to show you ads based on your browsing patterns and interests.
- You can opt out of the DART cookie and personalized advertising by visiting Google Ad Settings.
- For more information on how Google uses data from sites that use its services, visit Google Privacy & Terms.
Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand how visitors interact with our site. Google Analytics collects anonymized usage data such as pages visited, time on site, device type, browser type, and approximate geographic location.
Google Analytics uses cookies to collect this information. You can opt out by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Add-on.
Cookies
We use the following types of cookies:
- Essential cookies — Required for basic site functionality, such as storing your theme preference (light/dark mode). These do not collect personal data.
- Analytics cookies (Google Analytics / GA4) — Used to collect anonymized usage statistics to help us understand traffic patterns and improve the site.
- Advertising cookies (Google AdSense) — Used by Google and third-party ad networks to serve personalized or contextual advertisements.
You can manage or disable non-essential cookies via the cookie consent banner displayed on your first visit, or through your browser settings.
Third-party services
We use the following third-party services, each with their own privacy policies:
- Google Analytics — Privacy Policy
- Google AdSense — Privacy Policy
